NSFW: Top Ten Porn TV-show Titles

 Click more for the list.

We have all heard of those porno’s that copy big budget movies, most famously “Shaving Ryans Privates”. Imagine if this was applied to TV-shows aswell…I did. Here are ten of my favourites, either created by me or supplied by friends:-

1. Ready Steady Cock (Ready Steady Cook)
2. Cockring Nation Street (Corrination Street)
3. Randy’s Kitchen Nightmares (Ramsey’s Kitchen Nightmares)
4. Ride My Pimp (Pimp My Ride)
5. Pump’d (Punk’d)
6. Big Plumber (Big Brother)
7. Buffy The Vampire Layer (Buffy The Vampire Slayer)
8. Bargain Cunt (Bargain Hunt)
9. Jamies School Rimmers (Jamies School Dinners)
10. Ross Kemp on Gangbangs (Ross Kemp on Gangs)

Whilst trying to come up with some of these I came across TV-shows that you don’t need to change the title in order for it to be XXX.

a. Loose Women
b. Desperate Housewives
c. Peak Practice
d. The Naked Chef
e. Blue Planet
f. Ugly Betty

Im sorry, its not “Ok!”

Whilst watching a great episode of Dragon’s Den I was rudely interrupted by an ad-break. This was when it happened, a monstrosity of sorts. An advert for “Ok!” magazine, in which they focus on the fact that “David (Beckham) confesses love for Victoria (Beckham)”.

This is the sort of “Virus” we are talking about, the lead story of this “magazine”, if you can call it that, is basically “A MAN LOVES HIS WIFE”. I’m sorry, did I miss something here? He’s supposed to love his wife, thats his job as a husband.

Why do we need to dedicate column inches to that kind of drivel. The worst part is, the general public lap it up and its so upsetting that I will never be able to save these people.

They are forever destined to watch Emmerdale and read about Coleen’s latest pair of shoes. I think soap opera’s and gossip magazines should carry heath warnings. “WARNING: Reading/Watching this will seriously harm your ability to think”.

Ross Kemp in Afghanistan

After watching Ross Kemp make the move from his “Grant Mitchell”, soap opera starring role, to cutting edge documentarian in his Sky One Bafta award winning program “Ross Kemp on Gangs” I was eager to see what he would do next. In the “on Gangs” series he travelled far and wide trying to get up close and personal with some of the worlds scariest gangs. He spent time with Nazi skinhead gangs in Orange County, USA and Russia, he visited different prison gangs across the world and often interviewed the leaders of these organisations, not once getting flustered by their aggression or rhetoric.

In the “in Afghanistan” series he follows British troops from the 1st Anglian Regiment on their tour of Helmand province in Afghanistan, where they are in some of the “worst fighting encountered by the British Forces in over 40 years”. He goes out on patrol with the FSG (Fire Support Group) and also on the front line with infantrymen.

One of the main things, apart from the fighting, is the disregard the British press have in their handing of the “friendly fire” accident which killed 4 members of the regiment, in the series they show helmet cam footage of this. The men Ross interviews think its horrid how the press used this story to scapegoat the Americans and sell more papers, without any thought for the families and friends involved.

This is one of the best documentaries I have seen in a long time, whereas others deal with the politics behind the war this shows us what its like day in day out to be on the front line in a modern war. If “on Gangs” got a Bafta for showing us gangster scum then “in Afghanistan” deserves 10 Bafta’s for documenting these “ordinary people doing an extraordinary job”.

Hiphopopotamus vs. Rhymenoceros

Unless you have been living under some kind of rock, in a none wi-fi enabled area, then I’m guessing you’ve heard of “Flight Of The Conchords”. These New Zealand funny men are responsible for making the most drink-spurting-out-of-my-nose hilarious stand-up and series Ive seen since Peter Kays “Live At The Top Of The Tower” and “Phoenix Nights”.
